Grand Re-Opening
Walmart Supercenter had a Grand Re-Opening on September 6, 2024 following a big redesign of store 583. The celebration included tasty samples from some of their awesome vendors, in store giveaways, and food trucks. Karen Lay and Vicky Poindexter where both honored for their continued long-term service of working for Walmart for 40+ years. Karen and Vicky are pictured above cutting the ribbon. Walmart proudly presented checks of appreciation to some of the local organizations such as: Moco Mutts, $500.00, Children’s Center of the Cumberlands, $2,500, Scott County Justice Center, $1,500, and Appalachian Life Quality Initiative, $2,500. Walmart has been in Oneida since 1984. Walmart Supercenter Departments: Auto Care Centers, Baby & Nursery Services, Bakery, Business Center, Connection Center, Deli, Garden Center, Money Center, Patio & Garden Services, Pharmacy, Photo Center and Vision & Glasses.
