The Tennessee College of applied Technology will be offering the HESI test for the LPN program daily until July 31st. Call 423-663-4900 to schedule. Limited seating available.
Landmark Christian Academy orientation for the new school year – Due to the increase in students we have split on campus student orientation and homeschool orientation into two different days. On campus students: Friday, July 26th at 6pm. Homeschool students: Friday, August 9th @6pm. It is mandatory for one (1) parent or guardian to attend for every student, there are no exceptions to this rule. Failure to attend will result in removal from the student roster. Any one that has been wait listed but wishes to transfer if space becomes available, or is interested in applying, should come to the orientation for the program in which you wish to enroll. What will we be doing? Completing registration, record releases, reviewing handbooks, discussing program rules and filling out tuition plans. Students are not required to attend.
Karate for Christ Oneida presents Christ centered karate lessons at Oneida Church of God, 1100 Paint Rock Rd., Oneida, TN. Open to everyone 5 years and up regardless of age, size or shape. Suggested donation of $$5.00 per class. For more information call Larry Mason at 302-535-3965.

Tn Back To School Tax Free Week – starts Friday, July 26, 2024 at 12:01 and ends at midnight, Sunday, July 28, 2024.
Revival at Pleasant Grove United Baptist Church beginging Sunday night, July 28th. Services begin at 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. during the week. Jimmy Boman and Garry Campbell will be bringing the message.
The Scott County Farmers Market is now open for the season every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. through the end of September. Located at 600 Scott High Drive, Huntsville TN. Scott County Heritage Festival – Experience the Appalachian culture with live authentic demonstrations. Saturday, September 28th, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Event by Museum of Scott County, 400 Scott High Dr., Huntsville, TN.
Summer Food Service Program – Summer meals for youth. Age 18 and under are eligible for free nutritious meals during summer, May 28, 24 – July 31, 24. Meals will be bundled and contain a breakfast and a lunch for each day. Pick ups will be on Tuesday and Fridays 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at SAI. For more information call 423-663-9300.
