Hewas a member of FirstBaptist Church of Robbinsin Robbins, TN. He was also preceded in death by brothers Charlie KlineWalker Jr and Michael Timothy (Tim) Walker and grandparents Thomas Nand Zida Kline Walker andCharlie and Theora Blevinsand his son’s mother,Shirley Riddle Walker.Additional relatives who predeceased him include aunts and uncles MaryHelen and Ralph Moser, Stanley and Mary Walker,Leon and Dillis Walker,Lawrence Walker, WilliamAlfred and Flonnie Blevins, Columbus and Arie Blevins, and cousins,David Blevins, JanetBrooks, Ralph Moser, Jrand David Moser. Tom is survived by many close cousins, including: MarjorieSue Wisner, Charlesand Sue Blevins, Phillipand Judy Blevins, Nancy and Jim Hutson, Ronald and Joyce Moser, Larry and Gina Moser, MarthaWalker, George and BettyWalker, Leshia and CraigMartin, Michelle andRalph Trieschmann, LindaMoser, and Ginnie Gray.Tom was a member of the first graduating class ofScott High School. He graduated in 1972 and was the salutatorian of his class. After graduation, he attended TennesseeTechnological University where he received his bachelor’s degree and majored in Industrial Technology.During college,Tom worked as an intern at Y12 in Oak Ridge to help pay for his education.After college graduation, he was employed by Y12as a Cost Estimating Engineer ,enjoying a successful career there for 45+ years.He retired in February of2022. Tom was loving, kind, generous, and had an infectious, and joyful personality. He always had a smile on his face and loved to gently tease his family and friends. Tom was an attentive father and was very proud of Chris’ recent accomplishments.Not only was he a loving and caring father, but also, he was the best brother a sister could have. Tom was always willing to help other people. He hada mechanical talent andcould fi x anything. He loved the outdoors and liked nothing better than looking with satisfaction at a fi eld of baled hay after working all day at the family farm. He so appreciated his dear friend,Lloyd King, who helped him on the farm. A ray of sunshine in Tom’s life was his young cousin, JobKline, who as a toddler started to follow Tom at the farm and wanted to learn about everything related to farming. Even though Job is now a teen, he and Tom maintained their connection and love of the outdoors and farming.Our heartfelt thanks to the entire Walker andKline families who has walked with Tom through the happy and sad times of life. He loved and appreciated each of you.Tom was a wonderful son, brother, father, nephew, cousin, and friend. We grieve losing him, but we are comforted that he is reunited in Heaven with his beloved parents and brothers. Friends may visit with the Walker family on Saturday, October 14,2023, at the First BaptistChurch of Robbins in Robbins, TN from 5:00 PM to8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday,October 15 at the FirstBaptist Church of Robbin sat 1:00 PM with Dr.Jack Kline and Bro. JeffDavis officiating. Music will be provided by theBrimstone Boys. Committal service will follow atCarson Memorial Park inOneida, TN. Pallbearers will be: Job Kline, MarkKline, Lloyd King, Ronnie Hughett, Randy Burnette, and Mark Young. Deborah Ann ConleyOctober 19th, 1957 -October 9th, 2023Deborah Ann Conleypassed away at her residenceon October 9th,2023. She was born onOctober 19th, 1957, in Oneida, Tennessee to Junior and Mildred Laxton. Deborah was married to her husband Greg for 32years. They went on to have children and grand children who Deborah loved to spend time with.Deborah also enjoyed making crafts, playing word games, and watchingJeopardy. She also had a love for nature and enjoyed hiking.Deborah leaves to cherish her memory her husband,Greg Conley; mother:Mildred Reagan Laxton; daughters: Heather (John)Doolin, Amber Day (Josh Coate); five grandchildren:Isaac, Hayley, Taylor, Joshand Peyton; her brothers:Jeff Laxton, Marty Laxtonand Jon Laxton; sister:Vickie Sittloh, along with many nieces and nephews.She also had countless special friends.Deborah is preceded in death by her father: Junior Laxton and niece: Meagan Laxton.
