In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Rosa Wonnell Bond; Son: Jerry Lee Bond; Brothers: Dewey Bond, James Arnold “Bob” Bond. Jerry Lester Bond, & Harry Bond; Brothers-in-law: Willard Duncan, Elmer “Bud” Jeffers, James Edward Hamblin (Artie Lowe), Robert Baker (Stacy Hamblin) Mike Clifton Hamblin (Betty), Joe F. Hamblin (Ona), Roy M. Hamblin (Ruby), Burl Jeffers (Mary), Houston “Tex” Cagel (Wilma), Francis F. Chitwood (Lillian), & Leonard H. Kimbrell (Cassie); Sisters-in-law: Majorie Byrd, & Harriet Lee Goad. He is survived by his son: Estel Wayne Bond (Brenda); Brothers: Everett Harold Bond, Eugene Bond, & Ralph Bond (Joann); Sisters: Ruby Lee Duncan, & Joyce Ann Greene (Clifford); Sister-in-laws: Margaret Mae Bond, Paula Jeffers Bond, Phyllis Bridges Bond, & Nadine Jeffers; Daughter-in-law: Linda Bond; Grandchildren: Jeremy W. Bond (Ginger Marie), Daniel S. Bond (KeishaAnn), Chris Bond (Mailen), & Chrissy Bond (John); also, many other nieces & nephews, great-grandchildren, & Family that he loved. Easter Toler March 15, 1939 ~ S eptember 5, 2023 Easter LueranieDuncan Toler, age 84 of Oneida, TN went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, in Knoxville, TN. She was born on March 15, 1939, in Oneida, TN to Reverend Edward Luther Duncan and Gertie Marie AcresDuncan. Shewas a member of Salem United Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James “Bubby” Holt, three brothers: James Duncan, Melbert Akers, and David Duncan, two sisters: Martha Sue Staten and Barbara Lynn Fornash, brother-in-law: Linden Kidd, three nephews: Melbert Akers Jr, Joey Lee Bond, and Jeffrey Kidd, and one niece: Linda Campbell. She is survivedby her son: Charles Timothy Holt and wife, Charlotte Kay of Oklahoma, three grandchildren: David Holt, Timothy Holt and wife Cindy, and JamiJoe Bible and husband Mark of Oklahoma, four great grandchildren: Anya Holt Bible, James Bible, Cali Bible, and Eli Holt of Oklahoma; siblings, two brothers: Joe L. Duncan of Oneida, Joshua Duncan and wife Bonnie of Indiana, three sisters: Ann Kidd of Oneida, Mary Hall of Oneida, June Toomey and husband Dan of Oklahoma; brother-in-law, Robert Staten of Ohio; and sister-in-law, Freda Akers of Ohio; many other relatives and friends. Friends may visit with the Toler family on Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Lee Kennedy January 22, 1947 ~ September 7, 2023 Kenneth Lee Kennedy, age 76,passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at his home. He was born on January 22, 1947, in Oneida, TN. He was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cordelia Kennedy Lowe and father, JohnRiley “J.R.” Chambers; stepfather, Luke Lowe; grandparents, Virgil and Rebecca Bowling Kennedy and Joe and Laura Collins Chambers; sister, Bessie Kay Lowe; mother of his children, Joan Byrd Kennedy Sexton; son-in-law, Donald “Donnie” Ellis; and brothers-in-law, Donald Ford and Clifton Ward. Kenneth is survived by his son, Kendall Lee Kennedy and partner Warren Cates of Lafayette, GA; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Ellis of Oneida; grandchildren, Donald “D.J.” Ellis and Amanda Ellis, both of Oneida; special granddaughter, Kendra Ellison; sisters, Lillian Ward of Jacksboro, Virgie Ford of Norma; brother, Jerry Lowe of Chatsworth, GA; many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Graveside service will be on Monday, September 11, 2023 at 5 p.m. in the Smokey Creek Cemetery in the Smokey community with Bro. Carlie Duncan officiating. Music will be provided by the Mason Family. William “Bill” Fitzgerald January 12, 1958 ~ September 4, 2023 William “Bill” Fitzgerald, age 65, of Tunnel Hill, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Elsie Fitzgerald; brothers, Larry and Oris Fitzgerald; sister, Teresa Smith; and his father-in-law, Harold Griffith. He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Fitzgerald; children, Tina (Jerry) Kirk; John Fitzgerald, and William (Jessica) Fitzgerald; grandchildren, Paige, Chris, Kourtney, Brayden, Kayden, Kyndle, Adalynn, and Amelia; siblings, Estel (Linda) Jeffers, James Fitzgerald, Lefa “Janie” Bowling, and Ellie (Carl) Black; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, in the Wilbanks Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tony Lowe officiating. Interment will be held at the Lee Chapel Cemetery in Tunnel Hill, Georgia.
