Living History and Civil War Reenactment at the Primitive Barn

We may have been lagging behind in battles during the 1860’s, due mostly to rough terrain and distance from major cities, most of our lit-tle community was relatively quiet as the United States fought amongst ourselves as a divided nation. However, on Saturday, just off Niggs Creek Road, the sound of cannons and rifles could be heard. The Third Kentucky Infantry & Green Rifles Living History set up a Live Civil War Camp this past Saturday at Oneida’s Primitive Barn. With reenactments, lunch, and plenty of gunpowder it was a good time for all!
