The Town of Winfield is accepting sealed bids on New Light Road
and Isham Road West project on signage and striping. Contractors
will comply with all criteria of State of Tennessee TDOT specifications.
If interested, you may come by Winfield Municiple Building between the
hours of 7:00 AM til 4:30 PM Monday thru Thursday to pick up bid
sheets. Sealed bids are required to be at Winfield City Hall by 2:30
PM on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 and bids will be opened at 3:00

TO EXCEED
CERTIFIED TAX
RATE
The Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the Town of Huntsville,
Tennessee will conduct a public hearing on June 22, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. on
the Town’s intent to exceed the certified property tax rate,
when it becomes available. This public hearing will be held at the Huntsville
Municipal Building. The certified tax rate as defined by T.C.A.
67-5-1701 is $.50 per $100 of assessed valuation. The Town of Huntsville’s
proposed Fiscal Year 2023-2024 Budget, if adopted, will require
a proposed tax levy $.50 per $100 of assessed valuation.

will conduct a Public Hearing on June 15th, 2023, at 6:00
p.m. on the town intent to exceed the certified property Tax
rate as to be defined by T.C.A. 67-5-1701 is $1.25 per $100 of
assessed valuation. The Town’s proposed FY 2024 budget, if
adopted, will require a proposed tax levy of $1.25 per $100 of
assessed valuation.

TRUSTEE’S SALE
WHEREAS, by Deed of Trust recorded in the Register’s
Office of Scott County, Tennessee, in Record Book 24, at page 218, on August
31, 2020, DANIEL MURLEY conveyed to ALLYN M. LAY, JR., Trustee, the
hereinafter described real estate to secure the payment of a Promissory Note in the
principal sum of $33,338.89, payable to FIRST NATIONAL
BANK of Oneida, Tennessee, and whereas default has been made in the payment
of said indebtedness, and the holder of said indebtedness has directed
foreclosure of the Deed of Trust in accordance with the terms thereof; Therefore, the
undersigned, as Substitute Trustee under the terms and provisions of said Deed of
Trust, does hereby give notice to the public that he, as Substitute Trustee, will sell
