ON&RC opens 14-bed skilled unit

The staff and residents of Oneida Nursing and Rehab Center would like to take this opportunity to extend their sincerest gratitude to the crowd that participated in their Open House last Thursday for the opening of their new 14-bed skilled unit.
Present for the Open House were County Commissioners Shelia Buttram and June Jeffers, as well as Chief Daryl Laxton from Oneida Police Department and Jacob Billingsley, representing the Scott County Chamber of Commerce. Also present were 2 CNA's from the original opening of the building, Joyce Freels and Priscilla Chambers.

Conducting the ribbon cutting for the new unit were: Front Row (L to R) -- Jacob Billingsley, SC Chamber of Commerce, Jessica Shepherd, Rehab Manager, Angie Chitwood-Owens, Regional Director, and Mike Roberts, Grace Healthcare President. Back Row (L to R) - Emily Genoe, Director of Nursing and Mike Carson, Chief Clinical Officer.
