Ranny Allen "Doc" Daugherty, 65, of Oneida, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016 at his home. He was the son of the late Everett and Wyanitia Watters Daugherty.
Ranny was a United States Marine Corps veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Emily Daugherty.
Survivors include his wife, Jerri Daugherty; children, Shane Daugherty and wife Christina, Amy Best and husband Cody, Matthew Daugherty and wife Rachel, Adam Daugherty and wife Cindy and Ashley Daugherty; grandchildren, Clinton Henderson, Triston Best, Ranny Owens, Colten Daugherty, Carter Daugherty, Caleb Daugherty and Emily Daugherty; one great-grandson, Allen Jasper Henderson; sister, Alene Hulsey and husband Larry Anderson; also leaves many other nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
A private family service will be conducted.

Dorothy Severina Slaven, 94, of Dalton, GA, formerly of No Business, TN, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at her home. Dorothy was the daughter of the late John and Helen Slaven.
She was preceded by her parents, John and Helen Slaven; her brother, Herbert Slaven; her sisters, Verda Harris, Thelma Vincent and Helen Phillips.
Dorothy loved to played bridge and enjoyed teaching her friends how to play. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
Survivors include by her sister, Norma Sellenrick of Grand Junction, CO; her daughter and son-in-law, Pat and Ed Million of Dalton, GA; her grandsons, Eric Million and Edwin Million III of Atlanta, GA; her great-grandson, Kyle Million and her great- granddaughter, Sabrina Million, of Calhoun, GA; dearest friend, Sally Johnson, plus many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later time.

Ralph Terry, 68, of Oneida passed away November 18, 2016 at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.
Mr. Terry was preceded in death by his father: Lonnie B Terry, mother: Marie Butler Terry, grandmother: Pearl Butler Terry, brothers: Eddie Dean, Estel, and Lawton Terry, sisters: Helen Erwin and Joann Winchester.
Survivors include his wife, Dessie Terry; daughter, Reada Stephens and husband Crawford; sons: Randal Terry and wife Karen, Tony Terry and wife Tiffany, and Adam Terry and wife Nancy; grandchildren: Aaron and wife Leona Stephens, Jerico and wife Tiffany Stephens, Justin and wife Jacque Terry, Zachary and wife Katie Terry, Korey, Christin, Breanna, and Adalynn Terry; great-grandchildren: Ryan, Raegan, and Zoey Terry, and Brantlee Chambers; sister: Imogene Terry Adams, special friends: Mountain Blankenship, and Jim Duncan; adopted grandsons: Bo, Dusty, and Jeremy Miller; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Monday November 21 at 4 P.M. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with bro. Delyn Phillips and bro. Norman Burke officiating. Music was provided by Jerry Walker and Ricky Terry.
Interment followed in the AbnerThomas Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Justin Terry, Zachary Terry, Aaron Stephens, Jerico Stephens, Korey Terry, and Christin Terry.
Honorary pallbearers were Breanna Terry and Adalynn Terry.

Joyce Ruth King, 69, of Huntsville, passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Rev. George E. and Hazel Privett King.
Mrs. King was a member of the Buffalo Bridge Baptist Church, and attended White Rock Baptist Church. Joyce worked at her beloved Wal-Mart for 30 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: Orvil Lee King and wife Georgia Mae, Charles King and Dean King; sisters: Edna Trammell and husband Floyd, and Bonnie York.
Survivors include her husband: Jack King; and her beloved children, daughter: Collette Smith and husband Chris of Huntsville; sons: Tony Williams and wife Shellie of Huntsville, and Keith Williams and wife Katrina of Oneida; grandchildren: Colby Lay and wife Kaylee of Oneida, Matthew Williams and fiancé, Kristen Reed, Lance Williams and girlfriend, Tesla Huling, both of Huntsville; great-grandson: Vincent Allen Lay of Oneida; brothers: Junior King and wife Betty of Robbins, and James King and wife Ann of Vermillon, OH; sisters: Orangie Davis and husband, Willis of Oneida, and Ruby Freels and husband David of Wartburg; brother-in-law: Arlie York of New Castle, IN; sisters-in-law: Pam King of Winfield, and Melgie Faye of Wakeman, OH; her beloved Wal-Mart family and many other special friends.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, November 21 at 8 P.M. at White Rock Baptist Church with bro. Jim West, bro. Jeff Davis and bro. Charles Lowe officiating.
Graveside service were held Tuesday, November 22 at 12 Noon in the Daniel Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Tony Williams, Keith Williams, Colby Lay, Matthew Williams, Lance Williams and Randall Freels.
Honorary pallbearers; Dennis Jeffers, Chuck Hall, and Nathan Daggs.
