KIP RANDALL BREWSTER



Kip Randall Brewster, 50, formerly of Scott County passed away October 28, 2016 at his residence in Stearns, KY with family by his side.
He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Reda Brewster; aunts: Jessie Mae Lawson, Anna Lou Posey, Norma Jean Lawson, and Nina June Carroll; uncles: Floyd Brewster and Lloyd Brewster; great uncle Chester Brewster; grandparents: Claude and Adele Brewster.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Brewster; children: Kip Ellis and Kevin Randall Brewster; step-children: Eric Murphy, Alwitt Poter, and Wesley Murphy; brother: James Brewster (Buddy); and a really good friend Dewayne Taylor; aunts: Shirley Day and Sue Brewster; uncle: Charles Brewster; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, November 7 at 3 P.M. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with bro. Chuck Duncan officiating.
Interment followed in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers were family and friends.

FILMORE CRABTREE



Filmore Crabtree, 86,, of Kansas formerly of Oneida passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Olathe Medical Center in Olathe, Kansas. He was the son of the late William "Bill" and Savannah (Honeycutt) Crabtree.
Filmore served his country honorably in the US Army from 1951-1953 during the Korean War and then went into the Navy and served from 1958-1962. Filmore worked in the tool and die department for Broderick's until his retirement in 1992 and was a member of Riverview Baptist Church in Albany.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Crabtree (wife, Christina) of Olathe, Kansas and Barry Crabtree (wife, Amy) of Dunkirk; three grandchildren, Lindsay Crabtree-Robinette (husband, Leon), Keith Crabtree and Britney Crabtree; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Rose Robinette; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nell (Terry) Crabtree; his son, Danny W. Crabtree; two grandchildren, Matthew Crabtree and Angela Crabtree; one brother, Fred Crabtree; seven sisters, Jane Bell, Savannah Posey, Flonnia Duncan, Virgie Bausswell, Ferbia Garrett, Florence Dean and Bessie Garrett.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 5 at 12 P.M. at the Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Pastor Dewayne Loveless officiating.
Burial followed in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, north of Muncie with full military honors provided by the Veterans of Delaware County.

PRISCILLA ANN DORRIS STANSBERRY


Priscilla Ann Dorris Stansberry, 76, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at her home. She was the only child of the late James and Zelma "Smiles" Dorris.
She grew up in Knoxville, graduating from West High School in 1958, and was selected Miss Knoxville that same year. She attended the University of TN where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. She married Don C. Stansberry, Jr. in 1961 and lived in Knoxville until moving to Huntsville, where they made their home for more than 50 years.
She was active in The First Presbyterian Church of Huntsville, the Girl Scouts and the Scott County "Fairest of the Fair" competitions. A gracious hostess, she was well known for the quantity and quality of her parties, and her vintage 1955 red Chevy convertible was a fixture at parades and special events.
Survivors include her husband: Don C. Stansberry, Jr.; son: Don C. Stansberry, III and wife Tracey; daughter: Debbie Stansberry Faires and husband Eric; grandchildren: Frank Stansberry, Lisa Stansberry and Jay Faires; and a host of friends.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, November 6 at 3 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church of Huntsville, with the Rev. Martha Anne Fairchild and Rev. Steve Sexton presiding.
Burial followed in the Mossop Cemetery.

WILLIAM SCOTT DUNCAN



William Scott Duncan, 59, of Oneida, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2016 at his home. He was the son of the late William Osborne and Mary Helen Litton Duncan.
Survivors include two daughters; Nicole Duncan Sullivan and Sidney Duncan and fiancé Travis Newport; sister: Shawn Duncan Kincaid and husband William; grandchildren: Warren Sullivan, Harlie Sullivan and Lucus Sullivan; nephew: Michael Allan; niece: Lisa Belleman; and many other family and friends.
A memorial service was Saturday, November 5 at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Oneida with bro. Dilbert Terry officiating.
His wishes were cremation.

HERMON LOWE


Hermon Lowe, 77, of Smokey Creek, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Park West Medical Center in Knoxville. He was the son of the late Edward and Cassie Lowe.
He was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters: Viola Carroll, Lola Lowe and Deanna Sharpe; two brothers: Marshall Lowe and Daniel Lowe.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Lowe; two sons: Christopher Lowe and wife Valerie, and Alton Lowe; three grandchildren: Cody Lowe, Lariah Lowe and Brant Lowe; brother: Andrew Lowe and wife Treva; four sisters: Rosetta Lowe, Kathleen Lowe, Annie Mae Hembree and Mertie Gibson and husband Dwain; a host of nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 5 at 8 P.M. in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville.
Graveside services were held Sunday, November 6 at 11 A.M. in the Smokey Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Ricky Sharpe, Eugene Lowe, Billy Lowe, Don Lowe, Dwayne Lowe and Johnnie Lowe.
Honorary pallbearers were: Merle Lowe, Ronald Lowe, Marvin Lowe and Gaylon Lowe and Scottie Lowe.

CLARENCE "BUTCH FORTNER



Clarence "Butch" Fortner, 69, of Winfield, passed ,away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at his home. He was the son of the late Harvey and Laverne McCarty Fortner.
He served in the U. S. Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law: Harold and Cleo Roe; brothers: Harold, Mike, Denny and Roger Roe.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Roe Fortner of Winfield; daughter and son-in-law: Shanna and Curtis Byrge of Helenwood; grandson: Harvey Byrd; granddaughter: Hannah Byrge both of Helenwood; sister: Rosie Nichels of Indiana; sisters-in-law: Kathy Cole and husband Gary, Glenna Braden and husband Johnny; brothers-in-law: Larry Roe and wife Linda, Don Roe and wife Sue, Paul Roe and wife Teresa, Joe Roe and wife Teresa, Freddie Roe; special friends: Steve and Dessel Lanter, Travis and Ruth Harness; several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

BRETT LARKIN BUNN


Brett Larkin Bunn, 40, of Robbins, passed away suddenly November 2, 2016 in Scottsburg, Indiana.
Brett was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Lee and Shelby (Clark) Bunn.
Survivors include his three beautiful children: Brettlyn Karahel Bunn, Jeffery "Alex" Bunn, and Gracie Shaylee Bunn all of Johnson City; two sisters, Karen Chase and husband Gary of OH, and Kathy Bowling of Robbins; one brother Robert Bunn of Robbins; nieces and nephews: Shawna Slover, Casey Kidd, Felicia George, Jason Bunn, Heather Goforth and Wyatt Bunn; special great-nephews: Brendan and Ryan Goforth, Ethan, Eli, and Evan Slover and Zeke Kidd; many other family and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday, November 6 at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with bro. Tony Lowe officiating.
Interment followed in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins.
Pallbearers were: Jimmy Lee Moffette, Terry Foster, Travis Slover, Jeffery Myers, Gary Chase, and Joe Goforth.

SHIRLEY CAROL KIRBY


Shirley Carol Kirby, 57, of Robbins, passed away Friday, November 4, 2016 at her home. She was the daughter of Mary Pemberton and the late Claude Pemberton.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by brothers: John Franklin Pemberton, Tiny Pemberton and Curt Pemberton.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph Wayne Kirby; son: Justin Jones and wife Hope; daughter: Claudia Kirby Brown and husband Nathan; grandchildren: Jasmine Jones, Hayden Jones, McKenzie Jones and Landon Brown; mother: Mary Pemberton; special friend: Darlene Garrett; loved by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 10 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home in Huntsville with bro. Carlie Duncan and bro. Eli Crowley officiating. Music will be provided by Sarah Byrd.
Burial will follow in the McCartt Cemetery in Wolf Creek.
Pallbearers will be: David Griffith, Tony Pemberton, Adam Herring, J. T. Crampton, Jeffery Campbell and Brad Hunley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Ridner and Ladd Phillips.

ARTHUR HONEYCUTT



Arthur Honeycutt, 69, of Jamestown, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Signature Health Care of Fentress County.
He was a truck driver.
He is preceded in death by his: father-Rev. George Honeycutt, mother-Louisa (Jones) Honeycutt; sisters-Ethel Goad, Burleen Griffith, and Irene Honeycutt; brothers-Chester Honeycutt and Edker Honeycutt.
Survivors include his: daughter, Jennifer Dishman and Husband Eddie; three grandchildren, Sidney, Riley, and Shelby; special friend, Ruth Smith; brother, Lester Honeycutt and wife Darlene; sisters, Kathleen Golden and husband Bill, Vivian Troxtell, and Lillian Hamby; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, November 5 at 2 P.M. at Jennings Funeral Homes Chapel in Jamestown.
Burial followed in the Fentress Memorial Gardens.
