Betty Jean Davis Wilson, 81, formerly of Scott County, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at her residence in Oakley, OH.

She was preceded in death by husband, Reno Wilson; granddaughter, Caitlin

Survivors include children, Rose (Fred) Daniel, Regina Wilson and Norma Jean (Douglas) Allen; grandchildren, Charles, Christopher, Adam; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Sylvia (Steve) Terry and Ruth Wesley; brothers, Jerry (Shirley) Davis and Ed Davis; special great-niece, Carmie and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, December 3 at 10 AM at the Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home, 3900 Montgomery Rd, Norwood, OH.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to: Hospice of Southwest Ohio Foundation, 7625 Carmago Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45243.

Naegele, Kleb & Ihlendorf Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Della Marie West, 94 of Oneida, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Richard and Mary West Price.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Leon West; daughter: Rochelle West; and three brothers: Haskel, Ralph and James Price.

Survivors include two sons: Edsel West and wife Hannah of Kingston and Fred West of Jefferson City; grandchildren: Greg West and Tamre Bennett of St. Augustine, FL, Andrea Bowers of Powell, and Stacie Landefeld of Jefferson City; nine great-grandchildren; as well as other family members and friends.

Graveside service were held Friday, December 2 at 11 A.M. in the Carson Memorial Park.

James Garrett Goodman, 56 of Oneida, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at his home after a brave battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Paul and Margie Goodman.

He was a member of the Buffalo Bridge Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his foster parents, Ellis and Christine Jones; sister, Paula Lynn Goodman.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Strunk Goodman; sons, Roger Goodman and girlfriend, Emily Lampman, and Bobby Goodman and wife Tracie; three brothers, Don Green and wife Norma of Oliver Springs, Allen Green and wife Carolyn, and Dean Green and wife Jennie all of Straight Fork; three sisters, Debbie Foster and husband Doug, and Kathy Taylor all of Lafollette, and Sherry Jones and husband Wayne of Winfield; four sisters-in-law, Sheila Dixon and husband Bill, Donna Coffey, Lillian Stephens and husband Eddie, and Betty Stephens and husband Wesley all of Whitley City, KY; two brothers-in-law, Roger Strunk and wife Edee of Indiana and Allen Strunk of Whitley City, KY; best friend, Chuck Duncan of Oneida; also leaves many other relatives and friends.

The Goodman family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 from 12 noon until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Lowe and Bro. Jacob Lay officiating. Music was provided by the Buffalo Bridge Baptist Church.

Burial followed in the Goodman Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Keith Massengale, JR Cross, JC Massengale, Joe Lay, Denny Chambers, and Mike Hutson.

Honorary pallbearers: Moses Lowe, Benjie Chitwood and Chuck Duncan.
